Description : Car runs well but burns oil; still good for long trips. It has the known ThetaII engine issue, but it's okay until an error code shows up. Just need to add oil every few weeks. Needs a new catalytic converter; the old one got blocked, and a temporary straight pipe is in place. Tires need replacing soon. Windshield has some chips, but insurance might cover replacement.
Hyundai offered to install a new engine block and catalytic converter for $5500 plus taxes (they provide parts for free). If an engine code shows up, it might be covered by Hyundai's extended warranty - recall R0180 (check it). In summary, it runs well despite burning oil, needs some work, well-maintained, has service records, looks good, and is clean. All-wheel drive, heated cloth seats.
Selling because I'm not a mechanic, already got a new car, and not interested in fixing this one. Will consider reasonable offers. Interested buyers/test-drivers need valid ID and proof of temporary insurance. No time-wasters or scammers
