About Us

In 1962, Impark opened its doors in Vancouver, British Columbia, with just one surface parking lot. During the 1960s and 1970s, the straightforward idea of focusing on customer service, along with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, drove continuous expansion. Impark controlled the Vancouver market by the end of the 1970s and had built up the depth of people and resources needed to expand east. Through the 1980s, growth accelerated, and Impark opened its first lot in the United States in Minneapolis. All of Canada's main cities witnessed the establishment of branch offices in the 1990s, including the 1995 purchase of CitiPark, the country's largest parking company at the time. Impark became the largest parking management company in the country as a result of this action and consistent development in new clients.
